The Executive Chairman of Jada Local Government, Hon. Salihu Mohammed So’o, Fagaci of Ganye Chiefdom, has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr. Umaru Adamu Sanda Gangwari II, the Gangwari of Ganye, as he marks 25 years on the throne of the Chamba Traditional Council.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Salihu expressed profound gratitude to God for the life and reign of Gangwari II, describing him as a beacon of exemplary leadership and a steadfast custodian of Chamba cultural heritage and values.
He praised the royal father for his unwavering dedication to the development of Ganye Chiefdom, his enduring advocacy for peace and unity among the Chamba people, and his commitment to fostering harmonious coexistence with other ethnic groups in Chamba land.
Hon. Salihu also used the occasion to issue a passionate appeal to the youth, urging them to uphold the dignity and integrity of Chamba land by shunning actions that could tarnish its image.
“The people of Ganye Chiefdom are renowned for peace and unity,” Hon. Salihu stated. “Over the years, this land has stood as a symbol of progress and development. Chamba land continues to be a proud contributor to Nigeria’s agricultural strength. We are truly proud of our heritage.”
He concluded with a message of warmth and admiration:
