ANCOPSS Adamawa Hails Gangwari II on 25th Anniversary, Calls on Fintiri to Boost Teachers’ Welfare

GANYE — As the grand celebration of the 25th anniversary of Gangwari II reaches its peak today in Ganye, well-wishers from across Adamawa State continue to pour in their heartfelt accolades and goodwill messages to the paramount ruler of the Chamba people.

Among those who paid tribute today was the All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS), Adamawa State chapter. Speaking on behalf of ANCOPSS, the Zonal Coordinator, Malam Usman Ali, expressed deep appreciation for Gangwari’s longstanding contributions to the education sector in the state.

Malam Usman commended the paramount ruler for his consistent support toward the growth of education, describing him as “a pillar who has helped uplift schools and students alike across Ganye and beyond.”

He also took the opportunity to extend gratitude to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his government’s efforts in improving education in Adamawa. However, Malam Usman appealed to the governor to further improve the welfare of teachers, noting that teachers remain the backbone of any meaningful educational reform.

The silver jubilee celebration of Gangwari II has drawn dignitaries, traditional rulers, government officials, and community leaders, turning Ganye into a hub of cultural display, unity, and reflection on the achievements under Gangwari’s reign.
